Beginning on the Todd Lake Loop Trail, make a brief loop around the edge of the lake by passing through the campground. Moving through golden meadows that hug the lake’s southern tip, proceed along the Trimble Mountain Trail that winds its way up to the summit of Trimble Mountain, offering views of Shenandoah Mountain, Reddish Knob, and the lake below. This trail will curve around the slopes of Trimble Mountain, with several more opportunities for stunning views of the George Washington National Forest, and then snake back down towards Todd Lake.
