This trail was designed by mountain bikers, with many challenges built in for the experienced rider. If you are less experienced, start the ride clockwise and ride along the lake. When the trail becomes steep, turn around and go back. This is a multi-use trail, be watchful for hikers. The more experienced rider will find plenty of challenge by starting the ride counter-clockwise. An entrance fee is required to enter the park beginning on Memorial Day and ending on Labor Day. There is still access to the trail when the park is closed.
