The Snoqualmie Valley Trail follows the path of an abandoned railroad from Duvall to Snoqualmie. The lower 2/3 of the trail is flat as it follows the Snoqualmie River through fields and small towns, and has excellent views of the pastoral landscape and the Cascades towering on the horizon. The last third climbs gently up the side of forested hills with frequent bridges over creeks and occasional views. Near the end is a large trestle over Tokul Creek. At the trail's end it's a short ride down Tokul Road to Snoqualmie Falls. Most of the trail surface is gravel.
