Blackhawk Lake is a 212 acre lake located in Iowa County in the Blackhawk Lake Recreation Area. It has a maximum depth of 42 feet and common fish include Panfish and Largemouth Bass. Visitors have access to the lake from a public boat landing on the west side of the lake. The lake's water clarity is low and the shoreline is filled with a thick, lush forest that is very beautiful. Some open fields and marshes also add to the scenery on the lake shore.
