This route to the flat-topped summit of Bivouac Peak begins by following the eastern shore of Leigh Lake and then the western shore of Moran Bay in Jackson Lake. From the most western point of the lake, the route turns to begin the climb up the East Ridge of the peak. Once the ridge is gained, just follow it to the summit across large boulders and then an exposed class 3 shelf immediately below the top.
