This route is part of the Bighorn Mountains and follows Black Mountain Road. Staging is located at the Black Mountain Parking Area. This is the main trail that offers access to additional riding trails in the area. The trail system is maintained by the Wyoming Department of State Park and the local snowmobile club. The grooming season runs December through March but riding can continue into May. A resident and non-resident permit will be required on all machines.
