The Blacks Fork River runs north into Wyoming starting at Meeks Cabin Reservoir at the Utah/Wyoming border. The river is class II-III in difficulty due to sections of faster currents and also the braids, strainers, and log jams that require careful navigation. The take-out at Hwy. 410 is not open for public access so permission needs to be obtained in advance to take-out at this spot. There are a few Game and Fishing access points before the Hwy. 410 take-out that do allow public access if permission has not been obtained for the Hwy. 410 take-out.
