Boysen Reservoir is a large lake that offers miles of shoreline for exploration with plenty of opportunity for water recreation and fishing. The Lakeside boat launch is located on the southeast part of the lake and gives paddlers the freedom to choose which areas to explore and how many miles to paddle. Crossing open waters may be required depending on the direction of travel so be cautious and know the current conditions on the lake before setting out. There are many sides coves and channels that can provide protection and calmer waters. The Lakeside area also offers picnic sites and restrooms.
