Running west from Walsh Drive to Ash Street, the Casper Rail Trail is a paved multi-use trail that runs through the middle of the city with very little vegetation. The trail is built upon the abandoned Chicago and Northwestern Rail line. There are future plans to extend the trail east to Edness Kimball Wilkins State Park and to include amenities along the trail such as small parks and benches.
