Located in the Black Hills National Forest, this scenic lake is situated in a peaceful forested area with lots of opportunity for recreation. There is carry-down access to the lake for small watercraft as well as a fishing pier. There are two campgrounds located at Cook Lake and a large picnic area. There are great opportunities for viewing wildlife as well as hiking and biking trails within the recreation area.
