Explore some of the best of the Black Hills National Forest here in Dugout Gulch. This route takes you across bridges and out to a loop option at mile 2.25. At this junction you can take the loop in either direction. There are no fees or permits required for this adventure. Beware of poison ivy, ticks, and the occasional snake.
