The staging area for this trail begins at the Moccasin Basin Parking Area. The route follows Forest Service Road 512 on a groomed trail. It passes by Brooks Lake Lodge and also intersects with other trails. The trail system is maintained by the Wyoming Department of State Park and the local snowmobile club. The grooming season runs December through March but riding can continue into May. A resident and non-resident permit is required on all machines.
