This route is located off Deep Creek Road in the Medicine Bow National Forest. It is a scenic drive through a forest of mixed aspens, pines, and firs. The road follows a mostly graded gravel road until the last two miles when it turns into soft dirt that is rutted. It is suitable for stock SUVs with high clearance. Watch for cattle and sheep. Dispersed camping is available with several places for tents or trailers.
