Situated at the base of the scenic Wind River Mountains, the lake offers great views of Half Moon Mountain. The lake provides miles of shoreline lined with pine and aspen forests full of wildlife. Fishing, hiking, and camping are popular activities in the area with lots of amenities provided through the Bridger-Teton National Forest and a commercial resort located on the lake.
