An out-and-back trip from Cheyenne, this route follows Happy Jack Road as it climbs into the mountains west of the city. The route turns around just after crossing Gilchrist Elementary School and then South Crow Creek. If desired, Happy Jack Road continues to climb through the mountains until it intersects I-80 at the Lincoln Memorial Monument. As this is a climb out, then this is a fun descent back into Cheyenne.
