Jim Creek Road follows a narrow dirt trail in the Medicine Bow National Forest. In the spring the trail can be wet and muddy and then turns dusty in the summer. It is rocky and requires some clearance. Stock SUVs are ok. There are a few creek crossings and it can be difficult to pass oncoming vehicles. Watch for ATVs and UTVs on the trail.
