Situated in the Wind River mountain range, Louis Lake offers beautiful scenery and opportunities for recreation and wildlife viewing. There are hiking trails in the area as well as picnic sites, a lodge, camping, and great fishing. The lake is quite remote and only open to non-motorized boats making it a peaceful lake to paddle.
