Located just over 10 miles out of Laramie, this lake is one of many lakes that make up the Laramie Plain Lakes. The lake is located just outside the boundaries of the Mortenson National Wildlife Refuge which is closed to the public due to an endangered species of toad that live there but the surrounding area does offer great fishing and birdwatching.
