Mt Woodring is an easy to reach summit in the Tetons along the gorgeous Indian Paintbrush Canyon. The route leaves from String Lake and into the canyon to Holly Lake. From the lake, the ascent up the mountain begins and follows the southwest slopes to the summit. In early season, an ice axe will be needed. Views at the top of Mt Moran and Thor Peak are breathtaking.
