Starting just downstream from Gray Reef Reservoir dam, this stretch of the North Platte River is slow flowing and known for great fishing, wildlife viewing, and scenery. There are other river access points along this route with restrooms and campsites available for public use. The river does travel through both public and private lands so watch for posted signs that indicate public access to the river. Paddlers looking to paddler longer distances can continue down the North Platte River to multiple other access sites.
