Following the beautiful North Platte River through Casper, this route uses the paved Platte River Parkway and also the Casper City Trail to ride on both the north and then the south side of the river. Casper is a beautiful city at the foothills of Casper Mountain with a large river running through the center of town. This is a short ride and if desired, the trail system does offer a longer route as the Platte River Parkway is about 11 miles total, but would be more of an out and back ride.
