This route begins at the Wold/Tics Recreation Fee Parking Lot and first follows Forest Service Road 512 and then onto Platte River Access. The trail system is maintained by the Wyoming Department of State Park and the local snowmobile club. The grooming season runs December through March but riding can continue into May. A resident and non-resident permit is required on all machines.
