Beginning at the Pole Creek Nordic Ski Area, this route follows the Muddy Creek Trail on a large loop in Bighorn National Forest. The route starts as a climb and has a steep climb at about 2 miles in. After the climb, there are rolling hills through this gorgeous and peaceful forest as it follows a dirt road.
