Located in the northern end of the Wind River Range, Split Rock Mountain is distinguished by the feature of a fracture running directly and deeply through the mountain. This climb is directly up the southeast face and then along the ridge top to the summit. This is a steep climb along rock, but can all be done without any technical gear besides a helmet.
