Although this trail doesn't take you right to the summit, it will get you close to Pole Mountain and there are plenty of opportunities to explore off trail. The trail begins at the Headquarters trailhead and goes to the Lincoln Monument at the Summit Rest Area off of interstate 80. It can be done as a shuttle from either direction or an out and back as well.
