From the apex of Teewinot Mountain, you will have spectacular views of The Grand Teton's north face and Mt. Owen. The Direct East Ridge begins in two leads using cracks on the left or south side. After this, scrambling leads to the prominent steep section of yellow rock below the summit, separated in five cracks. This is a very technical climb on the mountain that is the most highly visible peak from Jenny Lake.
