The route is easy to follow on the lower mountain, but quite difficult as you get higher. Avoid the temptation of going left before climbing the final face, like we did because you'll get in a steep, rotten, and dangerous col. Instead, stay right on the rock. It's steeper and exposed in a couple places, but safer. Most people hike this without ropes, but if I were to do this again, I'd take a small rope and a couple cams to protect it in a couple places. Doesn't hurt to be safe and this route doesn't take too long since it's so direct.
