Located at the far west end of Hanging Canyon, the Jaw provides an excellent view of the north and northwest faces of Teewinot, Mt Owen and the Grand Teton. This is a relatively straightforward ascent past Arrowhead Pool, Ramshead Lake and Lake of the Crags and then up the east face of the Jaw. The descent is down the same route you came up and is a great treeless ski in this bowl-like area protected by mountain ridges on either side.
