Standing to the west of Mt Moran, Thor Peak is a major Teton summit with glaciers and provides challenging climbs. This south slope route meanders through Leigh Canyon and then follows an easy talus couloir containing loose rock to the northeast. The route then follows an obvious couloir to the summit. There are steep sections along this scree slope. Ice axe and crampons are recommended.
