Located in Shoshone National Forest, this scenic mountain lake is very remote and offers beautiful scenery. The lake and surrounding area offers a lot of opportunity for birdwatching, wildlife viewing, fishing, and hiking. There is a public access site to the lake but a good portion of the lake is located along private lands so make sure to use appropriate access sites for put-in and take-out and pay attention to signs and postings. There are picnic areas and primitive campsites available along Trail Lake Road but not right at Torrey Lake.
