This scenic mountain lake located in the Shoshone National Forest is very remote and offers beautiful scenery. The lake and surrounding area offers a lot of opportunity for fishing, birdwatching and wildlife viewing, and hiking. The lake is surrounded by both pubic and private lands so make sure to use public access sites for put-in and take-out. There are picnic areas and primitive campsites available along Trail Lake Road.
