Curt Gowdy State Park is located in the foothills of the Laramie Mountains and is known for its landscape of diverse vegetation and rock towers. There are three lakes located within the park. Upper North Crow Reservoir is the most remote of the three lakes and the most undeveloped. It is day use only and has no water supply or picnic areas. There are excellent opportunities for fishing on the lake and great birdwatching. There is no swimming allowed in the park as the reservoirs are used as water sources for surrounding communities.
