This scenic alpine lake is located in Bighorn National Forest and is a great spot for paddling as the lake is only open to non-motorized boating. There is abundant opportunity for wildlife viewing and fishing at the lake. There are campgrounds and picnic areas available on the southeast portion of the lake. The West Tensleep Trailhead is located a short distance from the campground and is a popular hiking trail that leads into the Cloud Peak Wilderness Area.
