The Wyoming Heritage Trail extends from Shoshoni south to Riverton. This is a very rough trail that is also used by motorized vehicles. Some areas may be washed out, as there is not a group that maintains this trail. The portion of the trail that runs through Riverton is paved, but there sections that cross busy streets.
