The trip down Badger Canyon provides visitors with a challenging and scenic route that leads down to the banks of the Colorado River in the Marble Canyon section of the Grand Canyon. The trip is done as an out-and-back and requires fixing and ascending ropes on the return trip. There are a few rappels to complete and some shallow pools that require wading. An out-and-back trip will require the appropriate equipment which includes two 50' ropes, 70' rope, 50' webbing, three rappelling rings, harness, helmet, carabiners, descender, and ascending gear.
