The Bell Pass Trail is located in the McDowell Sonoran Preserve and is a moderate climb up to scenic views from Bell Pass. The trail to the pass starts at the Gateway Access area and follows the Gateway Loop trail until the junction with Bell Pass trail. From this point on the trail really starts to climb. At the top of the pass hikers can enjoy impressive of the Scottsdale area, Thompson Trail, Camelback Mountain, and the Four Peaks. The trail does continue down after the pass and connects to other trail in the area for hikers looking to add more mileage.
