This scenic loop trail travels through the town of Williams, past Santa Fe Reservoir, and along the Benham and Bill Williams Trail to the top of Bill Williams Mountain. The majority of the first part of the ride is on fairly level paved roads through the town to the junction with the Benham Trail. From this point the trail really starts the climb up to the top of the mountain. The trail does intersect multiple times with an access road that serves as a good alternative for an easier route up the mountain. At the top there is a short trail that climbs to radio towers on the summit. Add a mile to the total mileage of the trip if including this section of trail to the route. The ride down from the top is steep, fast, and challenging singletrack back to the trailhead.
