This long loop ride starts from the Wing Mountain Snowplay area and follows scenic forest roads to Lava River Cave. After the cave the trail continues north up to Highway 180 and east over to Hart Prairie Road and back down to the trailhead. The entire trail follows smooth forest roads that have minimal elevation gain and are easy to follow making this a nice option for riders of all skill levels. The Lava River Cave is the longest lava tube in all of Arizona and a neat place to explore but is narrow in places and is dark and cool so be prepared with flashlights, food, water, and warm clothing if stopping to explore the cave.
