This hike travels along the Ranger Trail through the scenic Jumpup Canyon to Lower Jumpup Springs in the Kanab Creek Wilderness Area. The hike follows a faint trail and canyon bottom through the scenic canyon to the springs. There are ancient pictographs high up on the canyon walls that can be seen. The Ranger Trail does continue past the springs and there are other connecting trails along the route providing hikers the option of a longer hike or over-night trip. Be sure to carry plenty of water as the area is very rugged and hot and water in the springs is not a guarantee.
