Located in Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument, the hike to Victoria Mine is a great way to see both the beautiful scenery and historical significance of the area. The trail is an easy, well-maintained path that starts from the campground and ends at the site of the historical mine that was used to produce copper, gold and silver. The site has lots of old equipment, an old store site, and mine shafts. Most of the mine shafts are fenced off but still be cautious when hiking around the site. There is no water along the trail so bring plenty of water and do not hike the trail in the heat of the summer as it is very exposed with extremely hot temperatures.
