Alder Creek Trail is a narrow path that is well shaded by tall pines. It doesn't follow Alder Creek immediately, instead it reaches the creek at 2.5 miles where it follows it to the falls. A section of the trail travels along an old railroad; remnants still remain. Alder Creek Falls is a 100 to 150 foot waterfall hidden in Yosemite National Park. Scrambling is required to get to the falls.
