Big Baldy Trail is a short hike along a well maintained path that meanders in and out of tree cover as it travels through a thin forest of pines. It leaves the forest once it nears the peak of Big Baldy. This short hike is rewarded with excellent open views of Kings Canyon to Redwood Mountain and the Sierra Nevada foothills.
