Cameusa Connector Trail climbs up and down through hillsides of trees and chaparral and into more open grasslands where the road meets the single track path and Cameusa Connector Trail. There are excellent views of the Santa Ynez River Valley along this section of the trail. It descends along Camuesa Connector Trail and crosses the Santa Ynez River; this may be impassible during periods of high runoff. Restroom facilities can be found at the trailhead.
