Located in Auburn State Park, Clementine Loop steadily climbs in and out of a mixed forest while following North Fork and Middle Fork of the American River. The trail has a few technical/rocky sections to make it a more challenging ride. As the trail descends toward Middle Fork of the American River on the return, it briefly travels through a narrow dark tunnel.
