Congress Trail is one of the more popular trails of the park, get there early to beat the crowds. The paved trail begins at Sherman Tree. It meanders and makes a loop through the heart of the largest sequoias of the park passing several well known trees: the House and Senate Group, the President, and Chief Sequoyah. There are several interpretive stations alongside the trail.
