Lake Clementine Trail crosses under Foresthill Bridge as it descends to the North Fork American River and follows its east-south banks into a canyon and through a mixed forest. This trail is in the Auburn State Recreation Area which encompasses 40 miles along the North and Middle Forks of the American River.
