Lake Del Valle is a long and narrow reservoir surrounded by rolling grassy hillsides dotted with woodlands. As you paddle around the lake you'll find several small coves and inlets to explore in solitude. The lake is open year-round, however, during winter months the water level is low and there is more exposure. Its recommended to do this paddle trip between spring and fall. Boats are prohibited from approaching the dam.
