As the easiest rock to access with multi-pitch routes in Sequoia National Park, Moro Rock is the most climbed formation in both Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park. Standout routes here are; ‘South Face’ and ‘Pennies on the Patio’, with other quality routes on the east face and west face. Park at the established parking lot for Moro Rock and hike from there. For Patio Area, hike up the many stairs leading to the summit of Moro Rock. The ‘patio’ can be seen from the last railing before the final summit railing. Rappel/top-rope from here.
