This paddle trip tours the waterfront mansions and expensive yachts that line and fill Newport Bay. With that said, most of the beaches are privately owned. Be sure to check out the historic Newport Pier before leaving the area, fishing boats have been pulling up this pier since 1891. Boat traffic can be heavy and congested at times, be aware and mindful of the rules.
