Parking for this trail is at Hospital Rock Parking Area. There are ancient Native American paintings found at Hospital Rock. Check the park kiosk for additional information on the history of Native Americans that lived in the area. The trailhead for Paradise Creek Trail begins at Buckeye Campground. The trail meanders through an oak woodland and alongside Paradise Creek which is bordered by wildflowers. Poison oak is common beside the trail due to how well shaded the area is. There is a trail leading to swimming holes just after crossing a bridge over the Kaweah River; this is a perfect place to cool off. As the trail continues to ascend, views of Morrow Rock, Kaweah River valley, and the foothills of Sequoia National Park begin to appear. At 2 miles from the trailhead, the trail becomes obscured by overgrowth and may be difficult to find.
